Hell week

blog...

YOU get an update! and YOU get an update!

Wow, so a lot has happened since I’ve updated the site.  I’ve got a few new comics for you guys (including my April Fools fake-proposal and the CPW t-shirt bingo).

Also, I’ve started going back and reformatting all of my comics for web-use.  It’s always bugged me how some of my panels were too wide for the 750px width of the site, and I was forced to shrink them down to fit.  All of the new horizontal panels will be rearranged vertically so they fit better.  So far, I’ve done up through “WeatherMan.”

Anywho, I’ve got to run to class.  Bye!

Finally catching up

So, if you’ve been following my comic regularly, you’ve probably noticed that I haven’t updated in a while.  Also, my homepage has been broken for quite some time.

I’m kind of insanely busy at the moment, In addition to drawing comics and being a student at MIT, I’m also working four jobs, and volunteering to teach a physics class on Sunday afternoons.

I still fully intend to keep my Tuesday-Friday thing going, I just might not get around to updating the site right away.  If I suddenly stop updating, it’s probably because I’m just lazy/busy.  The comics are still updated on time on the Tech website if you feel like hunting through the PDF they publish twice weekly.

Another semester

Sorry I haven’t updated the blog in a while.  Exam week hit, then my sister’s graduation, then driving home, then… I’ll spare you the details.

Either way, I’m sad to report that I passed all of my classes this semester, so my plans to get held back a year to give you, my loyal fans, another year of comics failed.  I hope you enjoy the next two years a lot.

The summer schedule is pretty sparse.  There’s a comic coming out this Friday, then just one a month or so until term starts back up again.  Here’s a link to the Tech’s publication schedule.

ZOMGCOLOR!

In my constant effort to improve the quality of my comics, I’ve decided to start working with color.  As it turns out, it’s not as hard as I thought it would be…

SPRING BREAK WOOO!

If you guys were wondering why there weren’t any comics this week it’s because the Tech doesn’t publish during Spring Break.  Comics will resume Tuesday as usual.

Oh, and they’re going to be a little… different.

Back in action

I’m blogging from my iPod in Roman history lecture. MIT is back in the full swing of things, so expect a Tuesday-Friday schedule as usual.

No Comic?!

That’s right.  This is finals week and then comes X-mas break.  The Tech won’t be publishing another issue until January 7th and the usual Tuesday Friday schedule won’t resume until the end of IAP in February.

Stay tuned though, I’m trying something a little interesting for the four IAP issues in January.  I’m doing a four-party story!  Granted, it isn’t going to be funny (sorry), but I’m experimenting with some techniques like hard-lighting and perspective and really just warming up for the next season of Steal My Comic which should have some pretty good artwork.  I hope you guys like it!

What? No comic today?!

Sorry folks, we have Monday and Tuesday off this week so the Tech isn’t publishing.  Tune in Friday for your regularly scheduled comic.

Wow, I’m done

So, I just finished submitting/uploading all of my comics for the rest of the semester.  In fact, everything is automated so if I were to suddenly die, you wouldn’t miss out on your favorite comic/webcomic.  I’m going to bed.

Orientation week

Alrighty, new school year!  Finally I can start posting some of the comics I’ve been writing all summer (because that’s pretty much all I’ve been doing all summer).  So, I’m not sure how I’m going to keep this up all year, but I at least have enough comics done now to last me through October.  This week, The Tech publishes an issue every day, so expect five comics in a row.  Then, I guess it just resumes the usual Tuesday Friday schedule.  They haven’t really told me the details though so we’ll see how that goes…
